Toshiba TV making loud noise?

I have a toshiba tv and it started making a low grumbling sound, and a few pops here and there, but it eventually escalated to where it is making a loud annoying noise all of the time, and the only way to get it to stop is to mute the television. I've tried blowing into the vents and checking the plugs but nothing is working
