Why god has such a big heart?

If this Allah cat's words are perfect, why is there Muslim extremism that demands the death of all non-believers or the torture and persecution of women...if his words are perfect, why do some Muslims believe jihad to mean a war against infidels, yet others see the same word and believe it to be an internal spiritual search? Doesn't sound perfect at all really.
