Is it possible that Yahweh has the most followers out of all the gods because He's the most terrifying god?

I am a follower of Yahweh, but sometimes I think I follow more out of fear than anything else. I mean none of the other gods threaten you with eternal torture if you don't follow them, the way Yahweh does. I was just wondering do you think that has anything to do with why he has the most followers, out of all the gods?
